Blessings Care Home LLC is Looking for a Caregiver for a California State Licensed Board & Care Home (6 Clients total) in the Citrus Heights Ca. area. This is a 2 day a week position. Hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm with all appropriate breaks during the day.
This is an Immediate Hire Position.
Job Description:
Blessings Care Home LLC is Residential Care Facility for Adults with mental health disabilities, and we are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to our resident, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and coordination of healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to constructively communicate with clients, staff and others (family, nurses and social workers etc).
Provide daily care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. All residents are Ambulatory.
Administer medication and assist with medication management
Coordinate and schedule healthcare appointments and Medication refill services.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Cooking and cleaning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care plans and progress.
Housekeeping and laundry duties.

Job Requirements
Must be at least 18 yrs old
Must pass a criminal background clearance prior to start date.
Must have a clear health screening and clear TB test.
Must have First Aid/CPR certification
Must be able to physically perform the required duties including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and have a basic understanding of the needs related to Adults with mental disabilities
Must be able maintain a positive attitude towards challenging tasks.
Cooking of meals
Housekeeping (cleaning, washing laundry, sweeping, mopping etc.)
ADL’s (bathing, toileting, dressing, hygiene etc.)
Recognize, understand and assist with clients needs
Must have the ability to communicate clearly with residents, family members, team members, outside agencies and management
Must be neatly dressed and well groomed according to dress code (scrubs required).
Must possess basic computer skills
Must be flexible and open to schedule change
Must be LGBTQ Friendly
Salary Negotiable based on experience, . Must Pass Fingerprint, Background check, and have health Physical, TB screening. First aid/CPR/AED,CDL required.
